Walk in the footsteps of the people of Anoia and discover how local producers work. You will spend a morning with a shepherd, you will create your own cava, you will print fabrics with natural flowers, while enjoying the landscape, the gastronomy and the people of this fantastic territory. As a means of transport you can either use an electric bicycle or travel by car, whichever you prefer.

  • Day 1 Arrival and welcome meeting
    Arrival in Capellades and check in at the hotel where an orientation briefing will be given and all the information about your experience will be given. Dinner-tasting to start the week well.
  • Day 2 Culture and history
    In the morning, Martí, our local guide, awaits us to tell us about the history of Capellades and above all, the history of the region. We will get to know what the people of Anoia are like and how the landscape, the orography, and lifestyle have shaped this region and its people. We will visit the Paper Mill Museum, which will allow us to discover the importance of industrialization in the region and the fundamental role of the river. Lunch in a restaurant with homemade dishes. Free afternoon to enjoy the city or join a short hiking trip of 6km.
  • Day 3 The secrets of honey
    After breakfast, we leave the hotel and go to Mas Buret where we will experience the bees´ lives up close and personal. We will learn about the secrets of honey production and we will have the opportunity to taste different types of honey. A fantastic experience! Once the visit is over, we can visit Santa Càndida where we can have a swim and relax. Accommodation in Jorba.
  • Day 4 Natural fabric printing
    In the morning we will leave the hotel to go to the village of Copons, a 12.5 km journey. There, Ana awaits us, with all the material ready to show us how we can print fabrics with leaves and flowers. We will enjoy lunch at the Vinya de Copons Restaurant, with local cuisine and located in a very peaceful environment. In the afternoon after lunch, we will finish completing the route (12km) to reach our hotel in Jorba.
  • Day 5 A day in the life of a shepherd
    In the morning we will leave from the hotel to head to Argençola, located about 14km away. Once in Argençola we will spend the whole morning with a shepherd, carrying out different activities such as feeding the animals, taking the sheep out into the countryside and living in first person what a day in a shepherd's life is like. After the visit we will go to Sant Martí de Tous for lunch at the Cal Vicenç Restaurant, with a cuisine of local products, and then we will go to the hotel to rest and spend the rest of the afternoon relaxing.
  • Day 6 The production of cava
    In the morning we will leave for Òdena to complete a 15 km route, to visit Bohigas, a family owned cava-celler , with a centuries-old tradition that has been evolving and adapting to modern times without losing its essence. At the masia (Catalan farmhouse), we will do a workshop where we will discover the process of making cava, with a complete visit to the facilities to finish making our own cava: we will extract the yeasts from the inside of the bottle, fit the cork seal and make a personalized label that we will stick on the bottle that we take with us a a souvenir. At the end of the visit we will have lunch at the Exquisite Restaurant. In the afternoon, check-in at the hotel in Igualada and time to enjoy our last hours in L'Anoia.
  • Day 7 Visit Igualada
    In the morning visit to the Leather Museum. Free time and end of the tour. Departure.

These prices are approximate. In order to finish this pre-booking, and depending on the trip, a deposit between 20% and 100% of total price is required. Once this deposit has been made, the Trek & Ride team will contact you as soon as posible to confirm availability and final price.

The insurance is an essential need four our clients. However, we recommend that you go through the insured amounts and compare them to other insurances to ensure you have the appropriate level of insurance in the event of any incident. In Europe, the European Healthcare card E-115 will give you Access to medical attention; you should request it at your local healthcare centre or hospital. This card is individual and non-transferable.
