TRANSPORT INFORMATION
With its airport and train station, Barcelona is the easiest way to travel to Catalonia. Gerona airport is a good alternative.
There is a direct bus from Barcelona Airport to Palafrugell (www.compras.moventis.es). The same bus service continues to l'Escala. There is also the regional train (R11) which has a good connection from the Barcelona Sants train station to the train station of Gerona.
