During 5 easy cycling days you will enter the magical world of Dali. You cycle along quiet country roads and visit the famous museum in Figueres, Dali's summer house in Cadaqués and the Gala castle in Púbol. The vineyards of Empordà, the countryside and medieval villages and beaches of the Costa Brava provide the perfect backdrop for this easy bike ride. An exclusive boat trip along the Costa Brava, a Dali experience dinner in a fantastic hotel and a dinner in one of Dali's favorite restaurants complete this holiday.

Day 1 Arrival at GironaArrival at Girona and welcome meeting with our guide. We will hold the orientation session, where your bike will be specially fitted for you and you’ll be presented with all the documentation and things you need for your trip. After the session, it is time to take a walk in the historic town center of Girona. -
Day 2 Girona-Castell Gala Dalí-Castell Empordà36.0 kmYou cycle out of Girona via cycle paths into the countryside, following the river Ter. Along tiny medieval villages, sunflower fields and olive groves, you will arrive at the village of Pubol, where you will visit the castle of Dali, where a big collection of his and Gala’s works can be found inside the castle and the garden. Here you can also visit Gala’s grave. Only 10 km from Pubol to your fantastic hotel in the village of Castell d’Empordà. Accommodation with breakfast and a “Dali experience” dinner in Castell Empordà. -
Day 3 Castell d’Empordà - L’Escala26.0 kmToday is a very easy day on the bicycle, as you pass beautiful medieval villages, olive groves, the nature reserve and the town of Torroella de Montgri. You will arrive at the seaside town of L’Escala, where you can enjoy the old town and the beaches. -
Day 4 L’Escala-Roses36.0 kmYou cycle out of L’Escala via a cycle path along the sea and the Roman ruins of Empuries, a fantastic open-air museum. You continue to the fishing village of Sant Pere Pescador, where you can visit the wetlands of Aiguamolls, a beautiful nature reserve with plenty of birdlife. The country road continues to the stunning medieval town of Castellò d’Empuries, with its impressive church. From Castello d'Empuries, you continue through the countryside along tranquil roads until you reach the seaside town of Roses. -
Day 5 Roses - Cadaques20.0 kmIn the morning, a water taxi will take you and your bicycles from Roses to Cadaques, one of Costa Brava’s most beautiful villages and home to Dali’s “Port Lligat” museum. After a 20 km cycle tour in the stunning Cap de Creus Nature Reserve, you will visit the museum and the town of Cadaques, where you can have a coffee in café L’Hostal, Dali’s favourite café. You stay in a small and authentique boutique hotel. -
Day 6 Cadaqués-Roses-Figueres38.0 kmIn the morning, a transfer brings you and your bicycles to the seaside town of Roses. Here, you will start your easy cycle day into the countryside, with stunning views over the mountains and the wetlands of Empordà. You pass small villages until you reach the medieval town of Peralada, famous for its excellent wines. From here, it is only a short distance to Figueres, where you will visit the most famous Dali museum and enjoy a great Dali dinner in the historic hotel Duran. -
Day 7 DepartureBreakfast at the hotel and end of the journey. Option to book extra days or transfer to the airport.

Recommended starting on Saturday or Monday to make sure the museums will be open during the day, please note that most museums close on Monday.

This is a very easy cycling tour along cycle paths and very light traffic backroads. Distances are short so that you have plenty of time to visit the museums, the villages and the landscape.
